The firm’s objective from day one has been to provide prompt, quality, results oriented representation and practical advice. The firm has stayed true to this objective for over 29 years. Our highest priority is to be responsive to our client’s needs while providing quality representation. We cater to our clients. We maintain our reputation for responsiveness and quality representation by staying relatively small, representing only select clients, and maintaining a close relationship with our clients and a thorough understanding of their needs.
ABOUT OUR BAY AREA LAW OFFICE
We are an established firm with over 60 years of combined experience in business, real property, creditors’ rights/bankruptcy law, trusts and estates, and family law.
The firm represents business and commercial real property clients of all sizes, including international publicly traded corporations, and professional individuals seeking an alternative to large firm representation.
In litigation matters, we seek negotiated resolutions, but are qualified and prepared to aggressively litigate to judgment at trial if necessary to achieve our clients’ objectives. We represent both plaintiffs and defendants throughout Northern and Southern California, appearing regularly in State Superior Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court.
In transactional matters, we are experienced negotiators and detailed draftsmen. We counsel our clients throughout the transaction and structure the transaction to meet our clients’ objectives and protect their interests.
We are sensitive to our client’s concerns with the high cost of legal representation. Therefore, we strive to represent our clients’ interests as cost effectively as possible without compromising quality.
The firm and its attorneys are committed to giving back to the community. We are involved with numerous non-profit and community organizations and active donors and supporters of community events in Castro Valley, Alameda County and the Bay Area. A few examples include Rotary International, Little League Baseball, CYO Youth Sports, Castro Valley Unified School District, Girl Scouts, Parents With Twins and the Castro Valley and Pleasanton Chambers of Commerce.
The firm and its attorneys are committed to maintaining involvement in the legal community. We are active members of the Alameda County Bar Association, the State Bar of California Business Law, Real Property Law, Trusts and Estates, and Family Law Sections, the Bay Area Bankruptcy Forum, and the Commercial Law League of America, the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California, and the City of Pleasanton Human Services Commission.
The firm was founded in 1989 as The Law Offices of Mark D. Poniatowski and included Mark D. Poniatowski and associate attorney, paralegal and support staff. Kim Leding joined the firm in 2008 and Meera Parikh joined the firm in 2010. The additions of Ms. Leding and Ms. Parikh added experience, expertise and capacity as the firm’s creditors’ rights/bankruptcy practice expanded during the Great Recession. Their expertise also led to the establishment of our Family Law Practice Group. The firm’s philosophy remains the same, and the Poniatowski Leding Parikh team continues the firm’s reputation as the law firm of choice among small firms in the Bay Area in real property law, business law, creditors’ rights/bankruptcy, trusts and estates, and family law matters. If your organization requires top-notch counsel, coupled with aggressive pricing, Poniatowski Leding Parikh is an appropriate choice.
